About the role

We are looking for a Senior Developer to contribute to software development from planning through delivery and maintenance. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Austin, US.

What you will do

  • Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications.
  • Translate requirements into clear, maintainable technical solutions.
  • Review code and contribute to engineering standards and development practices.
  • Investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement effective fixes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and communicate technical decisions clearly.
  • Contribute to documentation, planning, and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for

  • Practical experience developing and maintaining production software.
  • Strong understanding of software design, testing, debugging, and version control.
  • Ability to work across the development lifecycle, from requirements through release and support.
  • Sound judgement when making technical decisions and evaluating trade-offs.
  • Clear communication and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Working arrangement

This is a full-time, onsite role in Austin, US.

Requirements

Must have

  • At least 3 years of professional experience developing and maintaining software applications. 3+ years
  • Experience designing, implementing, testing, debugging, and maintaining production-quality software.
  • Working knowledge of software engineering practices including version control, code review, automated testing, and documentation.
  • Ability to analyse technical problems, identify root causes, and deliver maintainable solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues throughout requirements, development, release, and support activities.

Nice to have

  • Experience improving development processes, engineering standards, or system reliability.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting other developers through code reviews, pairing, or technical guidance.
  • Experience working in an onsite or closely collaborative engineering environment.
